1. Introduction and What This Policy Covers
Excellent Softwares ("we", "us") builds and supports business software from Noida, India. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.
It covers two things: (a) this website, excellentsoftwares.com, including the enquiry and job-application forms; and (b) our mobile applications, Excellent DMS and Excellent SFA, which share one codebase and the same data practices and are described together below as "the Apps".
Sections 2–3 apply to the website. Sections 4–6 apply to the Apps. Sections 7 onwards apply to both. If you install an App through Google Play, the disclosures in sections 4–6 are the ones that apply to it.
We are committed to protecting your privacy and to being clear about what we do with your data.
2. The Website: Information We Collect
2.1 Enquiry and contact forms
- Name, company name, mobile number, email address and city
- The product you are interested in, how you heard about us, and any message you write
- The page you submitted the form from
2.2 Job applications
- Name and email address, and your mobile number when you apply for a specific role
- The resume file you upload, and the role you applied for
- Resumes are stored in our Google Drive and logged in a private Google spreadsheet that only our team can open
2.3 Analytics and cookies
- We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, which sets cookies and records pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and actions such as submitting a form or clicking a phone number
- We do NOT send your name, email address, phone number or resume to Google Analytics
- Your light/dark theme choice is stored in your own browser and is never sent to us
2.4 Server logs
- Our web server records the usual request information — IP address, browser user-agent, pages requested, date and time — which we use for security and troubleshooting
3. The Website: How We Use and Share That Information
3.1 How we use it
- To answer your enquiry, prepare a quote, and contact you about the product you asked about
- To assess your job application and contact you about it
- To understand which pages and products visitors find useful, so we can improve the site
- To keep the site secure and working correctly
3.2 Who it is shared with
- Our own enquiry system, hosted on our servers, which is where enquiries are recorded
- Google (Workspace, Drive, Sheets and Gmail), where enquiries and job applications are copied and where resumes are stored, and Google Analytics for the usage data in 2.3
- Nobody else: we do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertising networks or data brokers
3.3 How long we keep it
- Enquiries: kept while we are in contact with you and as a record of the relationship afterwards
- Job applications and resumes: kept on file so we can consider you for future openings, and deleted on request
- Analytics data: kept for the retention period set in Google Analytics (currently 14 months)
- You can ask us to delete any of it at any time — see section 9
4. The Apps (Excellent DMS and Excellent SFA): Information We Collect
Excellent DMS and Excellent SFA are mobile applications for field sales management, order processing, customer relationship management and team coordination. SFA is the field-sales part of the same platform, and both collect and use data in the same way, as set out in sections 4 to 6.
Your employer, who licenses the App, decides which features are switched on and is the owner of the business data you record in it.
